The module just needs to be inserted into the diagnostic socket and most of the features start working. Features requiring special access to the vehicle can be found below. To activate them you need to install the Android application. - Opening Ceremony
The arrows on the panel fill to their maximum values when the ignition is turned on. Two options available: all the arrows move or only the arrows on big clocks.
Activated by the application.
On Alfa Romeo 159 1750 tbi, the turbo arrow does not move. - Smartphone Lock&Unlock
Vehicle`s locking/unlocking through the Android application. - Trunk unlocking
- Reverse Mirror Tilting

This feature requires an electronic code to be entered.
If you have an electric folding mirrors, once you single/double press the button for locking/unlocking on your vehicle`s remote control, the mirrors will fold/unfold, respectively. - Welcome lights – Fog lights or Headlights optionally
This feature requires an electronic code to be entered.
Once you single/double press the button for locking/unlocking on your vehicle`s remote control, the fog lights or headlights will turn on.
It is possible to turn on other lights, see below. - Windows closing for vehicles after 2008
This feature requires an electronic code to be entered.
Once you single/double press the button for locking/unlocking on your vehicle`s remote control, the windows will be closed. - Turning on the ignition
- Turning the car on/off by the Android app
This feature requires an electronic code to be entered.
Important conditions: The key must be inserted in the slot, the brake or clutch pedal must be pressed, the handbrake must be activated, the gear lever must be in “neutral” position for cars with manual gearbox and in “parking” position for cars with automatic gearbox. The vehicle can be turned off with phone, if it is turned on by the phone! - Enable/disable the seatbelt alarm
- Fog/Headlights turning on by the Android app
While the ignition is turned on or the engine is running. - Turning on the relays for seat heating and the lighter by the Android app
- Multimedia Remote Control
Multimedia car management by the Android app. - Vehicle`s data visualization by the Android app

SHORTCUTS SETTING UP
WELCOME LIGHTS, OPENING CEREMONY & REVERSE MIRROR TILTING
DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER, VOLTMETER, RPM & REAL ENGINE TEMPERATURE
Only one of the four features can be visualized on the display!
Switching between features is done by holding down the "CALL" button on the steering wheel!
If your car's radio is not original and the features are not displayed on the dashboard, please follow the steps:
- Press the "Menu" button
- Use the navigation buttons „+“ and „-“ and find out „Audio rpt“
- Press „ON“
REVERSE MIRROR TILTING
Follow the steps below to enable the feature "Reverse mirror tilting":
- Put the selector (sketch 1, button A) for mirrors adjusting at position 1 or 0 (sketch 1)
- Activate the feature in the app
In order to deactivate temporarily the feature, the selector (sketch 1, button A) for mirrors adjusting must be at position 2 (sketch 1)
In order to permanently deactivate the feature, disable it in the app.
The feature allows you to set up:
- The moment when the mirror would return to its initial position (when releasing the reverse gear or above pre-selected speed)
- By how many positions should the mirror go down
- The return of the mirror to the top from -3 to +3 positions

FOG & HEADLIGHTS*
Follow the steps below to enable one of the mentioned above features:
- Enter your electronic code (Electronic Code) from your vehicle`s code card, in the Smart Control MANCAN Tool app
- Activate the feature* „Welcome headlights“ or „Welcome fog lights“ in the app
- Pres the button for locking/unlocking, on your vehicle`s remote control, one or two times (pre-selected)
Follow the steps below to disable one of the mentioned above features:
- Deactivate the feature “Welcome headlights“ or „Welcome fog lights“ in the app
*The two features cannot be activated at the same time.
The standard duration of the functions is 10 seconds. You can increase the time from the slider, below the corresponding feature in the application.
Light combinations:
The activated by the app lights, will light in combination with the lights, turned on with the car`s headlight switch.
*Example: If you have activated the „Welcome Fog lights“ feature in the app, while the car`s headlight switch is at position "low beams" (sketch 3, switch А, position 1), as a result when you double press the button for locking/unlocking on your vehicle`s remote control, the fog lights and headlight will turn of.

AUTO MIRRORS FOLDING/UNFOLDING
Follow the steps below to enable the feature:
- Enter your code (Electronic Code) in the Smart Control MANCAN Tool app
- Activate the feature „Mirror Folding Remotely“ in the app
- Press the button for locking/unlocking on your remote control one or two times (pre-selected)
Follow the steps below to disable the feature:
- Deactivate the feature „Mirror Folding Remotely“ in the app
"Auto mirrors folding/unfolding" and "Welcome lights" combinations:
- Auto mirrors folding/unfolding + parking lights (front, rear and registration number lighting) – the car`s headlight switch should be at position "parking lights" (sketch 5, switch A, position 2).
- Auto mirrors folding/unfolding + low beams and sidelights (front, rear and registration number lighting) - the car`s headlight switch should be at position "headlights" (sketch 5, switch A, position 1)
- Auto mirrors folding/unfolding + low beams and parking lights, at night only – the car`s headlight switch should be at position "auto" (sketch 5, switch A, position 4).
- Auto mirrors folding/unfolding without lights – the car`s headlight switch should be at position "off" (sketch 5, switch A, position 3).

ACTIVATING/DEACTIVATING the seatbelt alarm
Follow the steps below to enable the feature:
- The car should be at MAR position (ignition on). The car can be with the engine running or off, but the most important is that it should not move and the accelerator pedal should not be pressed.
- Activate the feature „Activate the seatbelt alarm“ in the app.
You can deactivate the feature in the app: „Deactivate the seatbelt alarm“ or you can follow the steps below:
- Press the button "Menu", located on the car`s headlight switch (sketch 7, button C)
- With the navigation buttons (sketch 7, buttons A and B) choose "Beep Seatb.)
- Press the button "Menu", located on the car`s headlight switch (sketch 7, button C)
- Witch the navigation buttons (sketch 7, buttons A and B) choose "On"
- To confirm, press the button "Menu" (sketch 7, button C)

KEY CODE CARD
Once you have completed the pairing between your cell phone and the Mancan tool, please enter the electronic code from your vehicle`s "Key Code" card.
If you don`t own your card, you can request/buy it from the official dealer for Alfa Romeo in your country.
1. Press the "Settings" menu
2. Fill in the code and press "Activate"
3. Press "Deactivate" to deactivate the code

Important information!
How the features, requiring electronic code, work?
- By pressing the unlock or lock button once or quickly twice (pre-selected), the module reads the command.
- The ignition turns on (MAR Position).
- All appliances that are generally activated when the ignition is switched on are also switched on.
- The corresponding functions activated by the application are performed.
- As standard, after 10 seconds (if the duration of the "Welcome lights" function is not extended), the ignition turns off.
- All components that are generally deactivated when the ignitions is switched off are also switched off.
- The feature selected with the app is also deactivated.
- The module is waiting for a new command.
MANCAN Tool unpacking:
- MANCAN Tool v4 (Set up, functioning for your car; It is not necessary to update the version upon receipt! You will be notified by email when a new version of the program is available for installation!)
- OBD2 extender/splitter. It will help you to close the glovebox cover on the fuse board.*
- Security code card. Unique card with PIN code and the serial number of your device. You cannot pair the Mancan tool with your cellphone without this card.

Smart Control MANCAN Tool
Applications...If the device cannot be found when scanning the QR code, please follow the steps below:
- Open the Bluetooth Settings on your phone, choose Mancan tool (Macman tool) and enter the PIN, located on the card code sent by us
- Open the MANCAN Tool Smart control, put a tick against „This app is installed on 2DIN device“, press the "+", choose the row with the device`s name and write down optionally name
- Open the app Settings menu, press „Select car“ and uncheck the box „This app is installed on 2DIN device“
