Extremely easy installation!
Prepare the bulbs. The kit includes everything you need for installation!
Insert the bulb into the turn signal bulb hole in the headlight!
Insert the socket of the new lights into the connector of the turn signal socket.
After stuffing the box and cables into the headlight housing itself, let the cable come out of the low part of the cap!
Only the waterproof socket should come out of each headlight, which you will plug into the other part of the wiring later
See the diagram below how to connect the cables. You have to connect the red one to the contact relays and the white one to the lights!
Open the lid with the fuses and relays underneath. And locate the MAR relay (contact supply).
Connect and wrap the red cable through the hole of the middle pin of the relay.
Put everything back in place and close the fuse lid.
The way the lights connected on this principle work is as follows:
1. Red wire (main positive for the lights) connects to the fuel pump relay.
2. The white wire (plus for turning off the lights) connects to the vehicle’s marker lights
3. The bulb sockets connect to the vehicle’s factory turn signal sockets.
When the car is turned on (MAR position) (not the engine), the car sends a signal to the computer and it turns on the fuel pump relay. The relay is on from this point until 30-90 seconds after the car is turned off. So the daytime running lights should stay on even after the engine is turned off for at least another 30 seconds. Maybe that’s why you think they don’t go out. Wait up to 90 seconds, if they don’t go out then the problem is somewhere else.
Connecting the white wire to the gauges serves to turn off the daytime running lights, even if main plus is applied. I hope I have been helpful.
